Sammy Kim is from Seoul, South Korea and is currently based in Brooklyn, NY. He joined Empire Entertainment in 2011, where he specialized in talent booking, producing talent performances, and curating music for various events. Over the years, he’s worked with musicians, DJs, and speakers such as Will Smith, Bill Clinton, Pharrell, Christina Aguilera, John Legend, Katy Perry, Questlove, and more. He built upon this experience and expanded his role as a Program Producer for events like North America’s 50 Best Bars, Samsung Champions of Hope Gala, and the World’s Big Sleep Out in Times Square. Furthermore, he has become a Lead Producer of in-person and virtual events for PepsiCo’s International Bottler of the Year Awards, the Zillow Unlock Closing Party, the Nextdoor 100 Block Party, and New Heights’ GameChangers Ball. He continues to grow his horizon in business development and client relations. Outside of Empire, he manages a roster of musicians and DJs, produces dance music parties, practices yoga, and runs marathons.
