"To The North" - Feature Film Premiere

It is not easy premiering a film during a global pandemic. But this did not stop Empire Entertainment Japan from sharing with audiences, around the world, their feature film, Kita No Hou E/To The North.

A Japanese-language road trip movie, its first premiere was virtually, at the 21st Japanese Film Festival in Hamburg Germany where it won the Audience Award. This hopeful journey of four young people next screened In-Person (with proper social distancing, of course) at the esteemed Nara International Film Festival. Attending this premiere were Executive Producer Theodore Miller, writer/director Bruce Nachbar and lead actor Misao. To make the evening more special, internationally-acclaimed filmmaker and festival founder, Naomi Kawase, conducted the Q&A after the screening.

It is an amazing beginning to the travels our film will take to theaters and screens across the globe.​
