COP26 Japan Pavilion

The 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, more commonly referred to as COP26, was the 26th United Nations Climate Change conference, held at the SEC Centre in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, from October 31st to November 13th, 2021.

Focusing on accelerating actions towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, more than 196 countries participated in this year conference. Empire designed, directed and managed the virtual pavilion as part of Japan’s Ministry of the Environment virtual content.

The virtual pavilion was designed with over 30 booths and three large stages for participating companies and organizations in the metaverse world. This virtual pavilion was a hot topic amongst peers as a unique content, promoting Japan's environmental efforts during the 2-week event.
