Shopify Commerce Day 2021 Japan

Following Shopify's main online event, “UNITE”, held in the United States and Canada the same year, Shopify Japan reached out to Empire to create an online event with similar branding, but unique to Japan.

Shopify Commerce Day 2021 was the first online conference event in Shopify Japan's history. This online event provided Shopify merchants and partners the latest information on Shopify’s market in Japan, future businesses, and new information on Shopify Partner Awards. The first half of the event was broadcasted live on YouTube, with the second half held on a community format, OVICE. Over 900 attendees participated in real-time, respectively.

Empire worked with Shopify Japan to construct the storyboard for the entire event and the direction & production of shooting, editing and streaming of the event.​
