Dion Lenting

Senior Copywriter - Nagano, Japan

A New Zealander, Dion has been writing and creating content for Empire Entertainment Japan from our earliest days. Having worked as a copywriter in agencies in Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney and Tokyo, these days he is based in Nagano snow country. From his home office and occasional forays into Tokyo, he contributes content and copy to a wide range of Empire projects, with a special focus on crafting presentations, narrations, and copy-focused creative work. He also applies his skills to global and regional work for Lexus, Toyota and Steelcase among others. Outside the office, he has a lively interest in sport, the great outdoors and photography, enjoying skiing and snow shoeing in winter, hiking, road and bbqs on the balcony in summer. His son Akira is a member of the Japan National Cross-Country Ski Team.
